Supporting Children and Families in North Vancouver in a Caring Environment

Working with families and youth in primarily a school setting, I have worked alongside many different individuals with differing needs, whether it has been supporting students’ challenges at school such as anxiety, peer-to-peer conflict resolution, struggles with attention to name a few or whether it has been working with families to create meaningful changes both at home and school. I will work with you from either a Child Counselling model, Family Counselling model or a combination of the two and we will discover this together as I learn more about your needs.

Working in the school where I currently am, I have had the opportunity to work with children with a number of learning challenges, including Autism, ADHD, PDA, DCD (or Dyspraxia) and more. As someone with Dyspraxia myself, I love being able to support children similar to how I was supported growing up. Where some see challenges, I see opportunity, and I love championing the brains that these children have.

I look forward to working with your family to meet your needs and support your child and family in a caring and supportive environment.
